Van Oord has hired Dutch outfit Marine Coordination Services for support work on the 370MW Norther offshore wind farm off the coast of Belgium.
A team of four has been deployed at the project’s marine coordination centre at the port of Ostend.
They will help coordinate construction activities for Norther, Marine Coordination Services.
Van Oord is the main contractor on the project, which will feature 44 MHI Vestas V164 8.4MW turbines.
Norther is being developed by Elicio, Eneco and Mitsubishi Corp subsidiary DGE.
